Turkey Decoys - Tips and Strategies

Turkey Decoys - Tips and Strategies

You do get movement in high winds and I usually set them up against something such as a bush or branches to help stabilize them. The hens won't fold over in a cross wind but the Tom and Mating pair will if it gets high enough.

I have had toms come in and attack our tom decoy, and for the most part they come in well within shooting range. I have had a few less dominant toms go the other direction once they see our tom decoy. If toms come in groups of more than one they usually get very close attempting to attack. I think you will be happy with our decoys, the pack ability and the realism of the picture image printed on fabric is awesome. I can still set them up in my yard and fool my neighbors; it even gets their dogs barking.
